Remains of deer left on shrine to deceased wife Linda
Thursday, 13 March 2008
Sir Paul McCartney’s Somerset estate has been targeted by sick poachers.
The remains of a mutilated deer were left on a shrine to his first wife Linda, who died of breast cancer 10 years ago.
Linda was a staunch animal activist and famously launched the vegetarian food range that still carries her name.
Paul, 65, is currently fronting a vegetarian campaign for animal rights group PETA.
He replaces estranged wife Heather Mills, 40, who was dropped by the organisation last year.
