Fergie: I thought the FBI was after me

Black Eyed Peas star says drugs made her crazy

Fergie has revealed that her crystal meth addiction made her think the FBI was stalking her.

The singer says she was so paranoid that she couldn’t trust anyone.

‘I had about 20 different conspiracy theories,’ she tells Marie Claire. ‘I painted the windows in my apartment black so “they” couldn't see in.'

Her addiction also caused her to lose so much weight she was barely more than 6st.

‘One day, when I was about 90lb, I was searching in the bushes for clues about whatever they're after me for. A guy comes up to me and hands me a muffin. I'm thinking: "He's in on it."’

Fergie, who is engaged to Josh Duhamel, has been clean several years.
