Heath Ledger's dad: Matilda is our absolute priority

Hollywood star's daughter and ex Michelle Williams will be cared for

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda Rose 'will be taken care of' by Heath Ledger's family, says the actor's dad.

Heath's will, drawn up in Australia in April 2003, left everything he owned at the time to his parents and sister - including a £12,000 Toyota Prius and £10,000 in furniture.

The Hollywood star met Michelle Williams in 2005 while making Brokeback Mountain and had accumulated a great deal more wealth, in investments and property, but had not updated the document before his accidental death at the age of 28.

'Matilda is our absolute priority and Michelle is an integral part of our family,' Kim Ledger has confirmed in a statement. 'They will be taken care of and that's how Heath would want it to be.'
