Mario Lopez gives pal Eva Longoria gold necklace

Desperate Housewives star is treated to luxury gift by actor friend

US actor Mario Lopez suprised pal Eva Longoria with the gift of an expensive gold necklace this week.

The pair were enjoying lunch together at Café Med in LA when Mario presented her with the gorgeous present in a Cartier bag.

The necklace is believed to have been to congratulate Eva, 33, on the opening of her new restaurant Beso earlier this week.

Mario, 34, even helped the beaming Desperate Housewife put it on, reports the Daily Mail.

Eva's husband Tony Parker, 25, was unable to join Mario and his wife for the celebration.
