Boyz II Men have defended acid-tongued Simon Cowell.
The boyband – who are currently touring the UK – reckon his direct approach is the best way to coach potential artists.
‘We love Simon,’ they tell Now Online.
‘He’s not always right, but his approach is dead on. He’s the most truthful. You have to be very straightforward in this business.’
Simon, 48, is often criticised for his sarcastic comments on shows such as The X Factor and American Idol.
But Wanya, Shawn and Nathan have a lot of respect for his honesty.
‘You gotta learn to speak your mind because if not you get cluttered with everybody else,’ they say.
‘Eventually you start lying and you don’t have an identity any more. Whether he’s right or wrong, his opinion is his opinion. But a lot of the time he’s dead on.’
