Jennifer Lopez splashes out on luxuries for newborn twins

Singer said to have bought ponies and designer clothing for Max and Emme

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony have reportedly spent thousands of pounds getting their home ready for newborn twins Max and Emme.

The singer is said to have allocated a whole wing of her Manhattan home to the babies and has a team of domestic staff on hand to answer their every need.

J-Lo, 38, is also believed to have ordered designer clothes, fine quality Egyptian cotton cot linen and even 2 small Shetland ponies for the kids.

‘Jennifer has gone all-out to give the twins an amazing childhood,’ says a source.

‘She had the nursery painted a beautiful aquamarine and light blue - colours which are supposed to have intelligence-boosting properties.

‘She listened to classical music throughout her pregnancy and is now having music piped through to the nursery to help relax her youngsters.’

Jennifer and Marc, 39, are particularly concerned about protecting their babies’ health.

‘The twins’ wing is totally sterile and all flowers and presents are stored in a separate room, so they don’t contaminate the babies’ area,’ the source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘It may sound excessive, but she’s only got her kids’ best interests at heart and wants to give them the start in life she never had.’
