Big Brother star fears her mother’s murderer will be released from jail
Wednesday, 5 March 2008
Chanelle Hayes is convinced her mother’s killer will come after her when he is released from prison.
Keith Pollard was jailed for life in 1988 after being found guilty of murdering Andrea Sinclair.
But Pollard is due before the parole board next month and Big Brother star Chanelle is terrified he’ll be freed.
‘There has been a lot of speculation about him being released this year and if that was the case I’d have to get security for myself and my family,' she tells the Daily Star Sunday.
‘I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night otherwise. The thought of him out there really scares me. I just know he’d come after me.’
Chanelle, 20, was only a baby when her mum – who worked as a prostitute – was killed. She was then adopted.
