X Factor supremo turns down chance to promote drug
Tuesday, 4 March 2008
Simon Cowell has revealed that he was offered £1m to promote 'erectile dysfunction' drug Viagra.
But the X Factor mogul turned it down because he took it as an affront.
'Last year, my agent rang me and said, "You've been offered an incredibly big £1m deal. It's to be the face of Viagra",' Simon tells Glamour.
'And I just said, "Sorry, but that has to be a f****** insult".'
Simon, 48, has an estimated fortune of more than £100m.
