Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds planning to have a baby

Actors keen to become parents

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly thinking about starting a family.

The couple are currently busy promoting their films The Other Boleyn Girl and Definitely, Maybe in New York.

But Ryan, 31, admits that he's excited about eventually becoming a dad.

‘It definitely appeals to me,’ Ryan tells OK!

Earlier this month Scarlett, 23, was seen shopping for wedding dresses, sparking rumours Ryan had proposed.

But her rep denies they have plans to wed.

‘A family member is getting married, not her,’ her spokesman says. ‘She's not engaged.’

The couple have been dating for 9 months. Scarlett previously dated Hollywood heartthrob Josh Hartnett, 29.
