Pregnant Angelina Jolie to raise new baby in France

Actress and partner Brad Pitt want to honour her late mother Marcheline Bertrand

Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to raise the new baby she's expecting in France.

She wants to honour her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who was French-Canadian, by getting all her children to embrace her French heritage.

Angelina, 32, and partner Brad Pitt, 43, have already bought a chateau in the south of France, which they hope to turn into their family home.

‘Angelina has been told she is expecting a girl,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She’s thrilled. Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there.’

Marcheline died aged 57 in January 2007 at LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital after battling ovarian cancer.

Angelina showed off her growing baby bump at Saturday’s Film Independent's Spirit Awards in a figure-hugging black dress.

She and Brad are already parents to adopted kids, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and biological daughter Shiloh, 1.
