Actor Aaron Sidwell goes in dramatic love triangle storyline

EastEnders star Aaron Sidwell aka Steven Beale

Actor Aaron Sidwell is leaving EastEnders.

His character Steven Beale will bow out after a traumatic time struggling with his sexuality.

Steven will have conflicting feelings for on-screen pal Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and newcomer Christian Clarke (John Partridge).

'His contract is not being renewed but he will leave with a bang,' a source tells The Sun. 'There is a big exit story. It's an extremely odd love triangle.'

Aaron, 19, arrived in Albert Square only last September and his final scenes are due to be screened in May.

It is not yet known whether the door will be left open for him to return.

An EastEnders spokesperson confirmed that Aaron is leaving the show.
