Jermain Defoe dumps Danielle Lloyd over dog?

Footie hunk said to be concerned that relationship getting serious

Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle introduces her little pup to the paps as she arrives at the Mayfair Hotel in London.

Jermain Defoe has reportedly dumped Danielle Lloyd – because she wants a dog.

The footie hunk, 25, is said to have been concerned that their relationship was getting too serious.

Dani, 23, is believed to have been after a tiny pooch to keep in her handbag.

'She wanted to carry it about with them — he told her, "It's over",' a source tells The Sun. 'It says a lot about his priorities.'

Jermain and Danielle have been an item since just before Christmas.

He was previously engaged to glamour girl Charlotte Mears, 21.
