David Beckham voted Sexiest Man by gay mag

Becks beats Ryan Philippe and Gethin Jones to land top spot

David Beckham has been named the Sexiest Man of 2008 - by a gay magazine.

Becks, 32, ranked top of the list of 10 male celebs that AXM male readers think are lush, following his recent raunchy shoot for Emporio Armani Underwear.

Model turned actor Channing Tatum, 27, was a close runner-up, followed by Hayden Christensen, 26, in third place.

After their success on Strictly Come Dancing, Matt Di Angelo, 20, and Gethin Jones, 30, are also well-placed - with TV presenter Dermot O'Leary, 34, separating them at No 6.

Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband Ryan Philippe, 33, actor Gerard Butler, 38, and James Marsden, 34, also feature in the list.

The SEXY BOY issue of AXM is out on 26 February 2008.

Just one question, how can they rate the sexiest man of the year when there's 10 months to go?
