Singer messes up in rehearsals

Amy Winehouse forgot her words last night during rehearsals for the Brit Awards.

The singer is said to have fallen flat on her face and mumbled her way through her 2 songs.

Show bosses feared she wouldn’t make the live ceremony but, after a few hours to calm her nerves, she did appear on stage - though her performance has been criticised.

'I was sh*t,' Amy told Capital Radio DJ Denise Van Outen, who was backstage.

Despite her absentmindedness, the troubled diva did manage to send a special message to jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, mouthing 'I love you' to the cameras.

Amy, 24, performed Love Is A Losing Game and, later in the evening, Valerie with Mark Ronson – who won British Male Solo Artist.

Other winners on the night included the Arctic Monkeys, Kylie Minogue and Take That.
