Lindsay Lohan’s mum approves of nude pics

Dina says the photos are 'artistic'

Lindsay Lohan’s mother says she supports her daughter’s decision to pose naked for New York magazine.

‘It was tastefully done,’ says Dina Lohan, 45. ‘I respect the photographer as an artist, so I look at them artistically.

‘I don’t look at them like it’s Playboy, she was being a character.'

Lindsay, 21, is said to have seen the shoot – where she recreated images of Marilyn Monroe – as a once in a lifetime opportunity.

‘Lindsay was very excited when she got the phone call,’ Dina tells People. ‘She was very thankful she was asked.’

It's been reported the actress did 250 crunches before the photo session because she was so nervous and wanted to look her best.
