Jordan: I considered suicide

Model went off the rails when suffering postnatal depression

Jordan says she was once so down she thought about killing herself.

The former glamour model was suffering with postnatal depression after giving birth to son Junior in 2005, and in a moment of madness secretly took an unnamed drug.

‘After I’d taken it I thought: “This feels good,” and I took some more,’ she recalls.

‘My heart began racing fast, I felt hot and began to panic. Had I overdosed? Was I going to die?’

But as she climbed into bed with husband Peter Andre that night, her fears took over and she told him everything.

Pete, 34, accused her of being an unfit mother and told her their relationship was over. She says she fled the house in tears.

‘I seriously thought: “Shall I end it all now? Drive into this wall and kill myself?”’ she writes in her new autobiography Jordan: Pushed To The Limit.

Fortunately, she calmed herself down and sought help from The Priory clinic, where she was prescribed antidepressants.

After a rough 3 years, Jordan insists her relationship with Pete is better than ever and they plan to renew their wedding vows this year.
