Estranged couple still have business to finish on Monday

Heather Mills and Sir Paul McCartney’s divorce battle at the High Court will continue into next week.

Friday was the 5th - and scheduled final day - of their hearing but nothing has been settled.

The estranged couple are reported to have agreed a deal giving Heather a record £55m.

But because there are details still to be worked out, they’ll have to return to court on Monday.

It's believed Heather, 40, will receive a £20m lump sum, with a further £2.5m a year until daughter Beatrice, 4, turns 18 – in return for her silence about why the marriage broke down.

‘Heather has had no legal representation throughout recent weeks,' a source tells the Daily Mail. 'If a deal has been reached, the judge has to be sure of a few things to bind Miss Mills to the settlement. He needs to be sure she knows of and understands all the details of the agreement.

'He also must be sure that she not feel under duress to sign it.'

Heather – wearing a black velvet pin-stripe suit and bright red silk blouse - seemed chuffed as she left the hearing yesterday.

A spokesman for the Royal Courts of Justice confirmed the pair will return to court on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue, 39, is being lined up to present pal Paul with his Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the Brits on Wednesday.

‘Macca will be chuffed,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘He and Kylie have grown close. They hit it off when they duetted at Jools Holland’s Hootenanny on New Year’s Eve.’
