Singer named Woman Of The Year

Kylie Minogue was the big winner at the Elle Style Awards last night – picking up the prestigious Woman Of The Year gong.

The singer was honoured for her sensational comeback since battling breast cancer last year.

Kylie, 39, accepted the accolade in a stunning olive green gown.

Keira Knightley was also recognised after losing out at the Golden Globes at the Baftas. The 22-year-old was named Best Actress.



Keira's Atonement co-star James McAvoy, 28, was named Best Actor, Kelly Osbourne, 22, was voted Best Female TV personality, and Kate Nash, 20, topped her amazing year with the Best Music Act award.

Kate Hudson, 28, was handed the Elle Style Icon trophy, beating trend-setters Sienna Miller, 26, and Kate Moss, 34.



The annual bash, at London's Westway Centre, was a star-studded affair, with Naomi Campbell, Lily Allen, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lisa Snowdon and David Walliams among the guests.

Kelly Brook, 28, also made a rare public appearance since the death of her dad last year.

‘I feel fabulous,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘I've just come back from a two-week holiday with my mum, which was a wonderful experience and really good for me.’
