Actress said to be punched in head

EastEnders’ Lacey Turner was knocked to the floor after being punched outside a nightclub in the early hours.
The actress was at Destiny in Watford, Herts, with co-star Aaron Sidwell, 19, who plays Steven Beale.
But the partying turned sour when a rowdy group of men allegedly started taunting Lacey, who plays Stacey Slater in the BBC soap.
A fellow guest at the club says: ‘I left at around the same time and saw Lacey and Aaron walking across a nearby car park when the group of men approached them.
‘There were a few words exchanged and suddenly one of the blokes lashed out.
‘He hit her with a very powerful punch — it knocked her to the ground. She looked really shaken up and had to be helped to her feet.
‘Everyone stopped. They couldn’t believe what had happened. A couple of people helped her into a car and she went home.’
A police spokesman confirmed they were called to an incident in the area, but refused to reveal the identities of those involved.
‘Officers dispersed a group in a supermarket car park in Watford following a report of a fight there,’ he says.
Lacey, 19, was said to be recovering last night.
‘She was lucky not to be hurt, but was enjoying a scheduled day off yesterday,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She is fine and will return to filming today.’
