Kate Garraway to sue over steamy allegations about her and Anton du Beke

Spokesperson damns suggestions GMTV host is having affair with Strictly star

Married Kate Garraway has instructed her lawyers to take legal action over allegations she’s more than just friends with Strictly Come Dancing partner Anton du Beke.

The Sunday Mirror published photos of GMTV host Kate and Anton, 41, which they allege show the pair in a ‘lingering embrace’ outside the North Star pub in Islington on Thursday night.

Kate was hosting a charity fundraiser and the paper suggests that Anton ‘kissed her’ and ‘nuzzled his face into her neck’ after her husband Derek Draper, 40, left the venue.

‘They walked back to his car together and had a long, drawn-out embrace and kissed,' an onlooker claims in the tabloid. 'Then she turned away and Anton walked off to his car with this massive grin on his face, looking over his shoulder at her as she went.’

The paper also alleges that Kate is ‘a regular late-afternoon visitor' to Anton's 'trendy bachelor flat’.

But Kate’s spokesman has rubbished the report as ‘utterly false’.

Kate, 39 and Derek – who wed in 2005 – have a 23-month-old daughter called Darcey.

Anton split from telly personality Caroline Feraday last year.
