Heath Ledger’s apartment is up for rent

Late actor’s home is back on the market

Heath Ledger’s Manhattan apartment is up for grabs just 2 weeks after his death.

The actor’s body was discovered at his rented home on 22 January. And now property experts reckon it will be snapped up in no time.

‘You don't wait around in a hot rental market like this,’ a broker tells the New York Post.

‘As ghoulish as it sounds, people will rent that place in a heartbeat, especially when the vacancy rate is below 1 percent.’

Heath signed a lease for the apartment last September at a fee of £11,000 month - it is now estimated to fetch £12, 500.

A toxicology report confirmed yesterday that the actor died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
