Ex-EastEnders star Jill Halfpenny pregnant

Actress expecting first child

Ex-EastEnders star Jill Halfpenny is pregnant.

The actress, 32 – who played Kate Mitchell in the BBC show – is expecting her first child with actor husband Craig Conway, 32.

And he's chuffed to bits.

‘I can't wait to be a dad, I'm very much looking forward to the birth of our baby, it's such an exciting time,’ Craig tells the Daily Mail. ‘We haven't asked its sex because we'll be happy either way.’

The baby is due in May.

Jill also won Strictly Come Dancing in 2004.
