Kate Moss to announce engagement during girly break

Supermodel plans to announce news to pals while in Amsterdam

Kate Moss is reportedly engaged to Jamie Hince – and plans to share the news with her female pals during a mini-break to Amsterdam at the end of this month.

The supermodel, 34, is said to have told close friends that she has a ‘special announcement’ to make during the trip.

‘Kate has told five friends, including best pal Davinia Taylor, that she wanted to go to Amsterdam to have some girlie fun and also to tell them something special,’ a source tells the Daily Star.

‘Some of her mates think it could well be a hen do, which Kate will only ’fess up to once they are there.’

Kate’s plans were almost scuppered because Davinia, 30, planned to go to Berlin for a mini-break on the same dates.

'Both Kate and Davinia laughed lots,' says the insider, 'but it was Davinia who relented.'
