Britney Spears begs her dad to take her home

Singer pleads with Jamie Spears to help her

Britney Spears begged her father to take her home on Sunday when he vsited her in hospital.

'Come on, Daddy, let's get out of here. Take my hand and let's walk out of here together,' Britney urged.

Jamie told his daughter: 'I wish I could, but I can't.'

The incident is described in court papers which Jamie filed as part of his application to supervise his daughter's affairs.

Britney didn't believe her father's reassurances that he was only doing what he thought best because he loved her.

'No, you don't,' said Britney, 26. 'The doctor told me you are keeping me in here.'

A nurse in the psychiatric facility had to explain to the confused mum-of-two that the hospital had made that decision and not her dad.
