Kylie Minogue: Sheba is the only one sleeping in my bed

Singer insists she’s still single

Kylie Minogue has rubbished reports she’s back with ex Olivier Martinez.

The singer, 39, says the only reason she was in France recently was to vist pet dog Sheba, who remained living with the French actor, 42, when the couple split up.

‘Listen girls, my gorgeous Sheba is the only one sleeping in my bed,’ she quips. ‘I let her stay on my bed all night. In fact she slept with me for two nights in the hotel in Paris last week.’

Kylie - who was launching her new At Home bed linen range in London yesterday - is amazed by the claims that she's reunited with Oli and they're planning a baby.

‘Olivier and I are just friends,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘We've always been friends. I was just going to dinner with a pal and then everyone assumed we were dating again.’

But Kylie isn't short of admirers.

David Tennant, 36 – who starred opposite the pop princess in the Doctor Who Xmas special – has revealed that he begged writers to include a kissing scene between them.

‘Getting Kylie on the show left me with stars in my eyes,’ he explains. ‘I suggested the kiss, I might add. It wasn’t in the script but I wasn’t missing that for anything.’
