George Clooney has revealed that he’s delighted with his Best Actor Oscar nomination.
The actor enjoyed lunch with fellow nominees in Beverly Hills yesterday and told reporters that the Academy’s recognition is ‘a fantastic honour'.
George, 46 - who has been busy working for the United Nations as a 'messenger of peace' - has been acknowledged for his role in Michael Clayton.
‘It's kind of nice to be wearing a suit again,’ he told People.com. 'I've spent the last two weeks around a lot of people who were killing and shooting each other for what seems like senseless reasons.
'I'm happy to be here.’
