SPOILER ALERT! EastEnders' Max Branning to be buried alive?

Long suffering wife Tanya set to punish cheating husband

EastEnders' Max Branning could be killed off in a dramatic storyline that sees him buried alive.

The love rat's affair with daughter-in-law Stacey Slater was exposed last year.

Viewers will see estranged wife Tanya drug her estranged husband, put him in a coffin and bury him in the woods.

Tanya (Jo Joyner) plots her revenge when Max (Jake Wood) threatens to disappear with their kids.

'Tanya is worried Max could take them,’ Jo explains to The Sun. ‘He’s capable of being nasty to get what he wants.

‘He disgusts Tanya, she doesn’t want him back – and feels he is out to hurt her because of that.’

To see if she goes ahead with her shocking plan in the BBC soap, you'll have to hang on until the end of March.
