But Girls Aloud singer is knocked back by record bosses
Monday, 4 February 2008
Sarah Harding is reportedly considering launching a solo career.
Sarah, 26, is said to be interested in going it alone because she reckons Girls Aloud will split.
‘Sarah has had an eye on her future for a long time. She knows girl bands only have a short shelf life and that the dream wouldn’t last forever,’ says a source.
But top record producers have declined to sign her up as a solo artist.
‘The response hasn’t been quite what she had expected,’ an insider tells the Sun.
‘She thought people would jump at the chance to take her on – but it hasn’t quite worked out like that.’
Girls Aloud are due to release a new single and album later this year.
