American Idol star Katharine McPhee marries Nick Cokas

Singer gets hitched to producer boyfriend

American Idol star Katharine McPhee has married producer Nick Cokas.

The pair got hitched in a church ceremony in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

‘Nick is the love of my life,’ Katharine told People.com. ‘This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.’

Katharine wore a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown and diamond jewellery, while hubby Nick wore an Armani tuxedo.

The 350 guests included fellow contestant Kellie Pickler.

The singer, 23, who met Nick in Los Angeles in 2005, has been engaged since last year.

Nick, 42, popped the question with a custom-designed brilliant cute platinum and diamond ring.
