US television channels have cancelled plans to broadcast a shocking video of Heath Ledger at a drug-fuelled party in 2006.
The footage shows the actor chatting to strangers who appear to be snorting drugs off a table at a fashionable Hollywood venue.
It is reported that while Heath partied into the early hours, his former fiancée Michelle Williams was upstairs with their newborn baby.
‘I'm gonna get so much sh*t from my girlfriend,’ he is heard saying.
‘We had a baby 3 months ago…Matilda Rose.’
But while promos of the video are still circulating, the full clip has been pulled from 2 celebrity news channels and the following statement released.
‘Out of respect for Heath Ledger’s family, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media.’
Heath was found dead at his apartment on the 22 January. His death remains inconclusive.
Ninemsn.com's LA correspondent Robert Penfold has seen the video in full and says it does not actually show the 28-year-old doing drugs and warns that it has been heavily edited.
