The telly host has agreed to a golden-handcuffs deal to stay with the broadcaster for 2 years.
And Vernon, 33, is chuffed.
‘I'm extremely thrilled and excited about what lies ahead,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.
As part of the deal, Vernon will front a new primetime game-show called Beat The Star.
He will also be back on our screens with a new series of Family Fortunes.
Vernon – who is married to fellow TV personality Tess Daly - is expected to keep his Radio1 slot on Saturdays.
