Amy Winehouse's dad: I don't want Amy to go to Grammys

Mitch Winehouse doesn’t think she’ll well enough for music bash

Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch doesn’t want his daughter to perform at the Grammys.

The troubled singer, 24 – who is currently in rehab - was expected to attend the American music bash in LA on 10 February.

But cabbie Mitch, 57, reckons Amy needs time to get clean.

‘I'm not sure the Grammys are going to happen,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.

‘I don't want her to go - I think it might be a bit too soon for her. She's not well - that's why she's in rehab. But she's doing OK. She is getting good treatment.’

Amy is nominated for 6 Grammy awards.
