Britney Spears can telephone her boys

The star is allowed to chat with Preston and Jayden

Britney Spears has been given permission to speak to her sons on the phone.

‘(Britney) is to have telephonic contact with the minor children,’ Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled at a hearing last week.

‘All prior orders remain in full force and effect.’

The mum-of-two, 26, has not seen Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, since her stand-off with police on 3 January and has lost her visitation rights 'indefinitely'.

Confidant Sam Lutfi is reported to have told US chat show hostess Barbara Walters that the troubled star is seeking help for mental health issues.

The next custody hearing will take place on the 4 February.
