Michelle Williams' new film postponed

Actress given time to grieve for Heath Ledger

Michelle Williams' new movie has been rescheduled to allow her to mourn for former lover Health Ledger who was found dead in his Manhattan home last Tuesday.

Blue Valentine was due to start filming on the 25 February but has been put on hold until Michelle feels like returning to work.

‘We will hold off until she is ready,’ a source reveals. ‘The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her.’

Blue Valentine also stars Ryan Gosling, the actor Michelle is rumoured to be dating.

‘The film is tailor made for those two so of course we would want to wait,' the source tells People.com. 'You can't get much better than them.’

Michelle, 27, is mum to Heath's 2-year-old daughter together, Matilda.

The actress was in Sweden and had just finished filming her last scene in Mammuth when she heard the news of her ex-fiancé's death.
