Cheryl Cole: I married Ashley for better or worse

Cheryl Cole is determined to save her marriage after allegations that husband Ashley cheated on her with single mum Aimee Walton.

'When I married Ashley I made my vows and promised we'd be together for better or worse,' says Cheryl. 'This has to be the worst it gets.'

The singer, 24, is horrified by the scandal but has known about her husband's wild night out for 6 weeks.

She does not believe Ashley, 27, had sex with the 22-year-old blonde.

'Why did she run to the papers to try and ruin my marriage? asks Cheryl in The News Of The World.

'I hope she's happy with her first designer handbag that she can buy with her dirty money.

'Ashley's a wonderful husband. I won't let this woman destroy our marriage.'

Aimee claims she seduced Ashley when he was extremely drunk. But Cheryl says her man can't perform when he's blathered.

'I know that for a fact,' she reveals.

Cheryl has 'Mrs Cole' tattooed on her neck and, after only 18 months as a wife, has no intention of filing for divorce.

'There's no point saying your vows then walking out on a whim,' she says. 'We love each other.

'People claimed I'd kicked Ashley out. That just wasn't true. I don't want anybody to be angry with Ashley or to judge him - that's my job as his wife.'
