Simon Cowell: I've given up chocolate biscuits and crisps

X Factor supremo may also ditch Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue

Simon Cowell admits that he’s obsessed with his looks and is a gym bunny, but he's struggled with a weakness for junk food.

‘I am definitely vain,’ he says. ‘But to be honest with you, I can’t think of one person who is on TV who isn’t vain. It’s the nature of the beast. I work out a lot.'

Until recently, he did allow himself a few 'poisonous' treats but they've had to go.

'I’m eating a lot better, a lot healthier food, and have cut out the chocolate biscuits and crisps,' he tells Star. 'I take care of myself.’

The music mogul, 48, is currently is contract talks with Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue and is tired of their bickering..

‘Sharon said she doesn’t want to come back with Dannii – and Dannii said she doesn’t want to work with Sharon,' a source tells The Sun.

'But Simon has banged both their heads together and told them, “If you don’t shut up – I can replace you both”. They don’t have to be best friends – but they do have to work together.’

Sharon, 55, and Dannii, 36, are expected to sign their new contracts later this month.
