New Bond film called Quantum Of Solace

Latest 007 movie title revealed

The latest James Bond film will be called Quantum Of Solace.

It doesn't have the ring of Casino Royale or Licence To Kill, but the producers chose the name from an Ian Fleming short story so at least it's authentic.

Daniel Craig, 39 – who is back as the sexy secret agent – has defended the cryptic choice.

‘It’s meant to confuse a little, to make you wonder,’ he tells The Daily Mirror. ‘We could have gone for something snappier but this is a Fleming title.

‘It doesn’t mean it’s a character-driven drama. We’re making a Bond movie.’

Meanwhile, Mathieu Amalric, 42, has revealed he'll base his role as a new villain on Tony Blair and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

‘I am looking at the smile of Tony Blair and the crazy eyes of Nicolas Sarkozy,’ he tells The Times.
