Singer tells TV audience that she’s getting over miscarriage by splashing the cash
Saturday, 26 January 2008
Lily Allen has revealed that she’s turned to a spot of retail therapy to get over her devastating miscarriage.
The singer, 22, lost the child she was expecting with boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, last week.
And while recording her new BBC3 show Lily Allen And Friends, she told the audience that she’s been splashing the cash to keep her mind away from sad thoughts.
‘I’m cheering myself up by shopping for shoes,’ she’s said to have admitted, reports The Sun.
Earlier this week, Lily and Ed bought a £40k BMW.
Lily Allen And Friends starts next month on BBC.
