Fashion guru praises Keely Shaye-Smith's fuller figure

Pierce Brosnan's wife applauded for flaunting her curves

Pierce Brosnan’s American wife Keely Shaye-Smith is being applauded for her fuller figure.

Harriet Olivia – who runs website Too Fat For Fashion – reckons the 43-year-old is brave to put on weight in image-conscious LA.

Less than 10 years ago, journalist Keely was a typical superslim Hollywood wife (left), but she has become more curvaceous (right) after giving birth to sons Dylan, 11, and Paris, 6.

Harriet insists Keely is helping change attitudes towards bigger women.

‘Keely isn’t the typical Hollywood size zero but she is still gorgeous, intelligent and doing her thing,’ Harriet tells the Daily Express.

‘She is stylish, unique and very classic. She reminds me of golden age pin-ups like Rita Hayworth and Jane Russell.’

And Keely is also proud of her figure.

‘I never shy away from colour or my curves,’ she’s said in the past. I like to play up my neckline and shoulders. If a jacket is pulling in the bust, I might just move the button an inch. But I never hide in baggy clothing.’

Pierce, 54 – who married second wife Keely in 2001 – has also spoken out about loving his missus whatever her size.
