SHOCK! Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton marry in secret

Oasis star and All Saints singer tie the knot at Marylebone register office

Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton became man and wife yesterday.

The Oasis star, 35, and his missus had planned the Valentine’s Day nuptials for months, but only told close family and friends recently.

The intimate ceremony - attended by the couple's son Gene, 6, Nicole's sister Natalie, 34, and Liam's mum Peggy - took place at Marylebone register office.

‘It was exactly what they wanted - romantic, spontaneous and with only their nearest and dearest,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Some of their mates will feel a bit miffed that they weren't invited but it wasn't that sort of a bash.'

Presumably Nicole didn't mind that Liam also married first wife Patsy Kensit, 39, at Marylebone.

The newlyweds' reception was held at London’s Landmark Hotel - but Liam's brother Noel, 40, wasn't there to celebrate as he's currently in LA.

An Oasis spokesperson confirmed Liam has married.
