Girls Aloud star says her world has been shattered

Cheryl Cole is devastated by a blonde single mum's claims that she bedded her husband Ashley before Christmas.

The Girls Aloud star was confronted with the story of the Chelsea's player's exploits on the cover of yesterday's Sun. The headline screamed out: 'Ashley cheats on Cheryl.'

'The news came as an absolute shock,' a friends tells thelondonpaper. 'She’s usually very strong but when she heard the news she burst into tears and said: "He has shattered my world." She couldn’t stop crying.'

Cheryl - who has 'Mrs Cole' tattooed on her neck - is reported to have ordered Ashley to pack his bags and get out of their luxury home in Oxshott, Surrey.

She's said to have yelled, "How could you humiliate me like this in front of everyone?”

The £90,000-a-week soccer star tried to reassure his wife but she was inconsolable.

'She loves Ashley with all of her heart but she feels utterly betrayed,' says a source. 'She’s got some tough decisions to make.'

Aimee Walton, 22, alleges she had sex with Ashley on 8 December after meeting him in a club in Piccadilly.

'I just hope Cheryl can see him now for the man he is — a cheat and a liar,’ she tells The Sun.

Cheryl, 24, and Ashley married 18 months ago and had been talking about starting a family.

'He is just an amazing, genuine man,' Cheryl said recently. 'I really want a baby and so does Ashley.'

The soccer star's representative declined to comment.
