Michael Underwood injured in fall

Dancing On Ice star believed to have broken ankle

Dancing On Ice star Michael Underwood has a suspected broken his ankle after falling in training.

The GMTV reporter, 32, was taken to hospital last night to be treated for the injury.

‘Michael wasn’t doing anything particularly dangerous,’ says a show insider. ‘He was just training ahead of the weekend’s shows.

‘He wobbled at first and I think he thought he was going to right himself but then he hit the floor. It sounded painful.'

Michael put on a brave face but it's not looking good.

‘He will see a specialist,' an ITV spokesman tells the Daily Mirror, 'then a decision will be taken about whether he can continue in the competition.'
