The wife of Britney Spears’ paparazzo pal asks for legal separation

The wife of Britney Spears’ pal Adnan Ghalib has had enough of being married to the snapper.

Azlynn Elizabeth Berry, 26, has cited irreconcilable differences for the split and wants Adnan to pay spousal support and her lawyer’s fees.

The couple married in 2003 and have no children.

They were reported to have separated over a year ago but friends say that until recently, they were still together.

‘Adnan and Azlynn were very much a married couple. They loved each other,' a pal tells Now. 'They lived together as man and wife, they had a social life together and they shared a chequebook. They had plans for their future.’

That all fell apart when Britney arrived on the scene a month ago.

Azlynn told her friend: ‘I wanted to believe in him, in us. But I’m not sure I can any more. I think I need a lawyer. Adnan is going to make a bundle from Britney. What if he disappears with her and leaves me with nothing?’

Adnan was born in Afghanistan and moved to England at the age of five as a refugee.

He was brought up by his parents in a very strict Muslim household in Birmingham along with his three sisters, although ex-friends claim he ‘was always very charming and a real hit with the ladies’.

Adnan moved to America to make his way as a snapper. He met, then married, Azlynn Berry, although Brandy Navarre, vice-president of rival picture agency X17online, tells Now: ‘It’s rubbish that Adnan married for love – he was only after a Green Card.’

Britney, 26, was besotted with Adnan but recently told rival photographers that she'd never heard of him.
