Nicole Richie reportedly watched herself giving birth by looking in a mirror.
Daughter Harlow was delivered naturally 2 weeks ago and Nicole was keen to get a clear view of the moment her little girl popped out.
‘A nurse handed Nicole a mirror so she could see the birth,’ an insider tells US Star.
‘At first she was too afraid, but she watched during the final few pushes.’
There were a few worrying moments for Nicole, 26, and fiancé Joel Madden, 28, when Harlow turned blue and struggled for air.
But the doctor soon got her breathing and placed her on Nicole’s chest while Joel nervously cut the cord.
Following the birth, the new mum then sent a note to Christina Aguilera, who was in a nearby ward awaiting the arrival of her son.
Christina, 26, had her little boy, Max, by Caesarean section on 12 January, the day after Harlow’s arrival.
