TONIGHT’S TV Gordon Ramsay banned from swearing

Channel 4 bosses tell him to button his foul mouth for live show tonight

Gordon Ramsay has been banned from swearing on his new TV show.

The celeb chef, 40, takes part in a live cooking programme tonight.

But Channel 4 bosses have told him to keep his foul mouth shut as there will be no time delay.

‘Gordon has never done this before so everyone is worried he’ll turn the air blue,’ says an insider.

‘He has been warned that even though the show goes out after 9pm, he still has to keep it clean. We don’t want to offend anyone.’

And Gordon reckons he can keep his cool, saying it’ll be ‘easy’.

‘It’s the first time I’ve cooked live on TV so it’s really exciting,’ he tells the Daily Star. ‘The most difficult thing in cooking is timing, but I’m going to be telling you what to do and when to do it, so it’ll be easy.

‘I will prove everyone can prepare a quick, delicious meal. Trust me, even if you hardly cook, you’ll be able to do this!’

Meanwhile, rival Marco Pierre White, 46, has been snapped sporting a red Turkish Fez - just like the ones worn by the late comedian Tommy Cooper.
