AP Entertainment are ready for bad news
Friday, 18 January 2008
Britney Spears' life is in such a mess, news agency The Associated Press has already prepared her obituary.
Editors have written an extensive tribute to have on stand-by in case the troubled star dies.
‘We are not wishing it, but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a long time,’ AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington tells Usmagazine.
‘I think one would agree that Britney seems at risk right now. Of course, we would never wish any type of misfortune on anybody…but if something were to happen, we would have to be prepared.’
Britney reportedly left a suicide note in her bathroom just days before being stretchered to hospital on 3 January after a 3-hour stand-off with police.
Meanwhile TMZ insiders are worried the 26-year-old is suffering from a multiple personality disorder after she began talking in a British accent last week.
