Singer hoping to get inspiration for new album in Caribbean

Amy Winehouse is planning to holiday in reggae legend Bob Marley's house in Jamaica.

The singer, 24, reckons the trip to the Caribbean over Easter will help her get some inspiration for her new album.

Amy will be working with Bob’s musician son Damian, 29, at his old studio.

‘I love Jamaica and wanna feel Bob Marley's spirit when it comes to my music,’ she’s said to have told pals.

‘I wanna stay where he lived and hook up with Damian because he's a genius. I'm desperate to get over there.’

Amy has just returned from Mustique, where she was staying with rocker Bryan Adams, but she's ready to get away again.

‘Amy's face just lit up when she talked about going over there,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

'She's always loved the Marleys and she wants her next album to have a real reggae feel about it.’

Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil is due in court today to face assault and conspiracy charges.

The troubled star visited him in prison yesterday and it was their first meeting since her dad revealed that Blake had asked her for a divorce.

But her spokesperson denies they're going to split.

'It came up in the heat of an argument,' he tells the Daily Star. 'What Mitch is referring to happened some time ago. Amy's meeting in prison yesterday was a perfectly good one.'
