SHOCK! Lily Allen suffers miscarriage

Singer is said to be in 'a state of shock’ after losing baby

Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage.

'She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment,' says her spokesman. 'We ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.'

Lily, 22, is believed to have lost the baby after returning from the Maldives, where she had been holidaying with Chemical Brothers star Ed, 37.

The pair are said to be ‘in a state of shock’ as they were chuffed at the prospect of being parents.

‘The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are absolutely heartbroken,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed.

‘She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf. They are surrounded by friends and family are offering support. It is a really difficult time for them.’

The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in December.
