Jamie Lynn Spears to be a single mum?

Rumours grow of a split with her baby's father and a miscarriage

Jamie Lynn Spears may be facing life as a single mum after rumours that she has split from boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Britney Spears' little sister, 16, hasn't been snapped with her fella for months. And recent reports claim that 18-year-old Casey is demanding a paternity test.

'Casey doesn't want to be with her until he's sure that he's the father,' a family friend tells InTouch.

Teenage mum-to-be Jamie Lynn recently denied even having a boyfriend.

'I just kind of keep my options open. I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends,' she insisted, reports Associated Press.

Spears-watchers have been keeping a close eye on Casey's official MySpace page for updates on the troubled teens. His profile entry before Christmas said that he was single - but his status recently changed to 'in a relationship'.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lynn's rep has slammed talk of a miscarriage.

'Contrary to rumours, Jamie Lynn Spears has not been rushed to hospital, nor has she suffered a miscarriage.

'She is healthy and at home with her mother.'
