Mel C to spend £10,000 to get tattoos removed

Spice Girl regrets having so many designs

Mel C is planning to spend £10,000 on laser surgery to get rid of her tattoos, say pals.

Sporty hates the body art because it brings back painful memories of her battle with depression.

‘Mel is determined to have her tattoos removed as soon as the tour is over because they remind her of all her unhappy times,’ an insider tells the News Of The World.

‘It’s going to going to be a massive job and very painful but she thinks it's worth it.’

The 34-year-old has a Celtic cross on her left arm, a phoenix across her shoulders and the word Angel on her midriff.

She also has a small star on her left hand, Chinese symbol on her upper arm, a flower on her back and Thai writing across her wrists.

Last year she admitted she regretted the tattoos – saying that when she put weight on they ‘looked awful.’
